Artist Statement:

Tide Swept Pottery Works is where faith is formed through fire.

My work is shaped by a lifelong connection to the ocean and a deep-rooted faith in Christ. The sea

represents strength, endurance, and quiet power - vast, steady, and full of wonder. That same depth is what

I seek to reflect in every ceramic piece I create.

Each design is handcrafted in Southern California using earth, water, and fire. Fired at over 2,100ºF, every

piece is refined through heat and pressure - much like character is shaped through life’s trials.

I draw inspiration from Christian symbolism and the textures of the sea - crosses, ichthys, and coastal forms

that serve as subtle reminders of identity and conviction. No two pieces are identical. Their small variations

speak to the beauty of being uniquely formed.

Through Tide Swept Pottery Works, I aim to create more than jewelry. My hope is that each piece serves as

a steady reminder - of who we are in Christ, of strength beneath the surface, and of faith that endures.
